Once a part is placed in drawing page it is automatically  saved in Design Cache memory associated to the design file ,and so the projects (*.opj) or design files (*.dsn) being portable between computers without the necessity of the presence of the schematic symbols in the libraries of the new computer.

·        Adding electric connections

The adding command of the electric connections, PLACE WIRE, is an option that allows the user to electrically interconnect two symbols, physical components, and hierarchical designs or to connect symbols, physical components and hierarchical designs to a scm-connection already present. The connections can start and stop by themselves. At the ending of a connection in some other connection, the program automatically places a junction point.

In figure 7 a part from an electronic schematic is presented. We can notice some important SCM components: parts (integrated circuit LM358, the diode and the resistor), a global signal (–15V symbol), electric connections and junctions.
