The task consists in the SCM design of the two PCB projects necessary to be developed in this course (the analog and digital modules, described in tasks 2 and 3) and understanding of the schematic capture flow which has to be followed in order to create the circuit diagrams for both projects. Schematic capture or schematic entry (SCM) is a main stage in the development design flow of a PCB electronic product at which the circuit diagram, called also the schematic of the PCB project, is created by the designer. This is done interactively with the help of a schematic capture tool also known as schematic editor.
In a way, schematic entry is the very first step of actual design of an electronic circuit. Therefore, schematic entry is said to be a front-end operation in the design flow. - Passive Electronic Components and Structures - Active Electronic Components and Devices - Analog Integrated Circuits - Basics of Electronic Packaging - Basics of PCB
